What am I writing at the moment?
Lots of you are asking me how the writing’s going.
Well, there are a couple of projects in progress at the moment.
Invincible Voices Publications
I am currently busy editing and putting together a collection of short stories that have been written and developed with groups of children through the Invincible Voices creative writing workshops and English tuition sessions that I run. I’m aiming to get the books launched this summer and will keep you posted!
Tea and Baklavas in Performance
I am really pleased to have been invited to read at the Winchester Writers’ Festival as part of their programme of after dinner Literary Talks on Friday 17th June, 7.45-8.30pm in the St Alphege Building. My memoir Tea and Baklavas seems to work best when read out loud and I am looking for opportunities to present it to live audiences as I develop it for theatre/radio, so the Winchester Festival platform will be ideal. I’ll let you know how it goes and hopefully post a video recording so you can have a listen for yourselves soon.
Thanks for your interest, encouragement and support. Be in touch again soon!
